Marianne Trinder is a highly trained counsellor with many years of experience as a counselling professional. With a Masters Degree in Counselling, Marianne is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and is a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Marianne works with adults, couples, adolescents and children of all ages and backgrounds across an extensive range of issues.

With Marianne’s skilled guidance, clients gain insight and understanding as well as strategies for navigating challenges and making lasting improvements in their lives. Marianne creates a warm, respectful and engaging environment in which clients can explore their concerns and receive personalised support and gain insights and effective skills and coping strategies. Accordingly, clients are supported through their most challenging times while feeling empowered to make changes and move towards the life they want.
Marianne draws on her extensive training and experience to tailor each session to clients’ individual needs. The therapeutic techniques Marianne draws on include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and The Gottman Method of Relationship Therapy. In sessions, Marianne focuses on engaging, educating, and empowering her clients to make lasting changes in their lives. Marianne’s clients therefore benefit from the wealth of professional and personal experience she brings to her work.
